"Natural" on a baby wash means legally nothing.
Certification means everything — so we check it.
Every product listed here has been checked against the certifier's own public registry — Soil Association, Ecocert/COSMOS — and we show you the entry so you can check our working. No scores, no scare stories. Just proof, or no listing.
The Vetted List — free, weekly
One verified product, one label claim decoded, and what we found in the registry this week.
We check the registry
Certifiers publish who they certify. We look every product's brand up in the Soil Association and Ecocert/COSMOS registers — by hand, one at a time.
We show the evidence
Each listing links the actual registry entry and states what the certification legally means — and what it doesn't.
We list honest stockists
A short list of legitimate UK sources per product, price shown as last checked on a stated date, ordered by what's best for you — never by our commission.

What "natural" legally means on a baby product: nothing.
In the UK there is no legal definition of "natural", "pure", "gentle" or even "organic" on cosmetics and toiletries. Any brand can print those words. The only independent proof is certification — and certifications are public. We check them so you don't have to, and we show you where to check them yourself.
Products that make natural claims without any certification we can find go in our greenwash file — not because they're dangerous, but because the claim is unproven. The newsletter covers one each week.
